Who are you and what do you do?
Cashrewards is Australia’s most popular cashback and savings site and one of the fastest growing tech companies. We connect retailers with our smart, savvy shopping community through giving back.

Retailers love Cashrewards because we connect them with a highly engaged and smart, savvy shopping community, generating a high return on sales and improving customer retention.

More than $600 million a year in sales - representing around 2% of Australia’s total online spend- is generated for our retailers. We also provide them with tools to help diversify and improve acquisition and loyalty. We are only paid for actual sales and unlike other performance marketing channels we return most of our advertising revenue back to our members, the best incentive for them to keep shopping. In fact, our conversion rates are 10x that of Australian e-commerce standards and 34% of our members visit Cashrewards weekly.

Our members love Cashrewards because we offer them the smartest way to shop and we are completely transparent. Unlike other loyalty or points programs, the Cashrewards our members receive is real money that can be transferred to a bank account or PayPal at any time they wish. With just one click our members save at leading global and Australian retailers by receiving a percentage back of every purchase they make. From necessities to niceties, food to fashion, televisions and travel, simply by shopping through us, our members have received $27M in Cashrewards from stores like Amazon, eBay, David Jones, Woolworths and 1200 more.

Cashrewards is growing fast. Winners of the 2016 Deloitte Tech fast 50, we were recognised as the fastest growing tech company in Australia and the fourth fastest in Asia. We have also been named Westpac Business of Tomorrow 2017, Optus Media and Marketing company of the year, were a finalist in the 2017 Telstra Business Awards and ranked 4th in Australia’s smartest companies.

The vision of Cashrewards is to “Give Back”. This is our lifeblood, our reason for being and why we started our business. Our Corporate social responsibility initiative is based on Pledge 1% where we donate 1% of product, equity, product and employee time to the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Who is your target audience?
We over index in affluent Millennial Males interested in Tech and Travel and we continue growing in this segment. In addition we are rapidly acquiring new customers with a special focus on Millennial Females, Mothers with young children and Babyboomers.

How long have you been using affiliate marketing as a channel?
3 years

What kind of advertisers are your ideal partners?
We currently have 75% of retailers on our platform and we would love to see more tech and appliances retailers leverage the Tech savvy Cashrewards audience. We are also looking at partners who would like to extend the Cashrewards model to offline and expand in categories like services and utilities.

What unique offering do you bring to the table that other affiliates don’t offer?

What new innovations will we see from you in the coming year?Improvements in our Cashrewards Notifier app. New opportunities to promote offers through our social commerce placements in WeChat, Facebook, Messenger, Twitter and Instagram.

Describe what excites you most about the affiliate marketing industry?
We are excited to see that Australian retailers are starting to see the value of affiliate marketing and that the e-commerce landscape is rapidly growing.

If advertisers aren’t yet partnered with you, why should they jump on board?
It is a no risk model as you only pay for a completed sales, why wouldn't you try it out? Our members are affluent, ready to shop and highly engaged.
